Meet the coaches
Rob Glaysher is an accomplished cricket coach, holding an ECB Level 3 coaching qualification. This accreditation attests to his coaching expertise and ability to mentor players at various levels, from aspiring novices to seasoned professionals. He is also a full MCC member, regularly representing the prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club and attending many matches down at Lords.
In addition to his coaching acumen, Rob is a valued member of the Brixworth 1st team. His skills as a seasoned 1st team player contribute to his deep understanding of the game.
Rob's coaching journey spans an impressive 18 years, during which he has impacted numerous cricketers through his cricket coaching . He has dedicated seven years to teaching, refining his ability to effectively communicate and impart knowledge to students of all ages.
Rob's coaching philosophy centres on nurturing a positive and supportive environment that fosters player development and team cohesion. He understands that cricket is not just a sport but a character-building experience, and he instils important values of sportsmanship, discipline, and resilience in his players.
Rob has worked in many different environments and for many different organisations, most notably working for Activate sport for seven years, managing and running some of their AFCA camps up and down the country.

James brings a wealth of experience as a sports coach , playing plenty of premier league cricket for East Grinstead where he has recently taken on the 2nd team captaincy position.

Toby supports our midlands winter academy and is a Level 3 coach, working for Northamptonshire CCC coaching their juniors he is also a teacher working in a local independent school.

Ollie is a fast medium pace bowler who can also hit a long ball. Renowned for his 6 hitting ability he has the ability to change a game in a couple of overs. Ollie supports cricket coaching via our Midlands winter programme.

Ian is Director of Sport and head of TPR at Copthorne Prep. Coaching on a range of our southern events, including cricket coaching on our winter programme and holiday camps.

Has played over 400 games of senior cricket, scoring more than 6,500 runs and taking 250+ wickets. Golden supports our cricket coaching on our Midlands winter programme.

Fraser is a young support coach who has assisted on our junior winter programme. He plays for Brixworth CC and also plays for Northamptonshire U18's.

James is a regular coach on our Midlands camps. Working in sports on a daily basis, he is well experienced of working with junior cricketers, running junior teams for Brixworth CC.

Rory is a Northampton based coach who often supports the delivery of our cricket coaching winter programme. The Aussie is a run scoring machine averaging over 90 throughout the 2023 season.
